The Second Moscow Solar System Symposium

Starting from 2010, the Space Research Institute holds annual international symposia on Solar system exploration. Main topics of these symposia include wide range of problems related to formation and evolution of Solar system, planetary systems of other stars; exploration of Solar system planets, their moons, small bodies; study of the Sun, interplanetary environment,  exobiology problems. Experimental planetary studies and preparation for space missions are also considered at these symposia.

The second Moscow international Solar System Symposium (2M-S3) will take place from October 10 till 14,  2011.  Subject matter of this symposium – “Moons of planets”. This topic is close to scientific problems of several projects what are under development in Russia: “Phobos-Soil”, “Luna-Glob”, “Luna-Resource”, “Europa-Lander”.
